today's questions…about blogging & commenting… päivän kysymykset…bloggaamisesta & kommentoinnista…

Do you feel tired of blogging?
Or leaving a comment saying nothing, “nice shot”?
Do you visit some blogs because you feel it’s your ‘duty’?

“Because she/he leaves a comment I have to do the same.”
“Because we’re kind of ring, we visit each other’s blogs…I have to comment even if I’m tired/busy…”

Do you read all the comments before you leave a comment?
Are you REALLY interested about her/his blog or are you trying to get more readers to your own blog via commenting?

Do you feel ‘outsider’ and that’s why you’re not leaving a comment?

Oletko väsynyt bloggaamiseen?
Tai jättämään kommentteja sanomatta mitään paitsi ”kiva kuva”?
Käytkö tietyissä blogeissa koska ajattelet sen olevan ”velvollisuutesi”?
Luetko kaikki muiden jättämät kommentit ennen kuin kirjoitat omasi?

  4. Great Questions.1. I am not tired of blogging. Somedays I run out of time or don’t know what to write about. But I love blogging.2. I do sometimes say “nice shot” but that’s because it is. When you don’t know someone very well, it is hard to come up with something clever to say that won’t offend them. There is this one person who visits my blog daily and loves it. She never leaves comments. But she voted for me in the Blogger’s choice votes and sent me an email about it. To each their own.3. I never think of it as my duty to visit or comment. I genuinely like the blogs I visit. There are some blogs that I used to read and lost interest in them after a while. I like original content. Original photos, original story etc. And I like reading blogs that have a personality.4. If someone leaves a comment on my blog, I always, always leave a comment on theirs. But I’ve run into some bloggers who leave comments but their blogs are very sexual in nature and then I just thank them on my blog and don’t visit them again. 5. I do have some circles of bloggy friends. I try to leave a comment every time they post. But some days I am too busy. So I go whenever I have time (on weekends) and leave comments on all their posts. 6. I do read all other comments before I post my own. On some blogs I visit, comments are so so funny! The are as entertaining as the posts themselves.7. I am really interested in the other person’s blog when I am commenting. I’ve blogged long enough to know that people don’t really come to your blog because you left a comment. Maybe once in every 30 comments you write. There are more effective ways of getting readers.8. I leave a comment if I find a blog I really really like but then if they completely ignore me and address only their friends, I stop leaving comments. I have some faithful readers who never ever leave comments. All my real life friends prefer to send me emails.Sorry this is long but these are great questions:)

Kuvia yleensäkin on vaikea kommentoida vaikka mieli tekisikin sanoa ‘oh nice shot’.

  6. When I first started blogging, (that would be a year ago this month!) It was mostly rambling thoughts and mostly no one commented, even though I knew some friends/family had visited the site. After a couple of months I would get comments and from people I didn’t know…that was exciting, and of course, I wanted to check out their site and see who they were and what they were doing. I knew it mattered to me to know people were taking interest in my site, and in most cases I found their sites interesting and left comments…Now it seems I have numerous blog friends and it is a strange familiarity, to know them but not know them. When I go to their sites, it seems I get to see a little more each time about the person…numerous connections went on as e-mail as well. I don’t really feel obligated to respond, I actually look forward each day to see what others have been doing or what they are thinking about. Too many words now, so I will stop here. : )

  7. When I first started blogging I went to people’s sites from a friend’s blog because of two reasons…1. if my friend read them then there is a greater chance that I would enjoy them also2. I need more than 1 person to comment 🙂Now, I am more selective adn realize that I am doing this for me…if you want to comment, great, I love to hear feedback, but if not, no big deal!I leave comments when I feel like it, not because I feel I am required to leave a comment!Great questions!BG

  10. Huomenta!Myönnan olevani vasynyt bloggaamiseen:) Olin kauan aikaa hyvinkin innoissani uuden harrastukseni kanssa, mutta nykyaan on hyvin vaikeata kirjoittaa mitaan…ja olen turvautunut pelkastaan kuviin.Tuli stoppi, minka tietenkin toivon paattyvan joskus. Hyvaa viikonjatkoa!!
