Im a rust fan too. Along with many other things as well.
Im one of the Header challengers, pop and see my blog. I agree with you on the centre mark, good idea, I will have to change mine, as I mostly put my siggy on a corner.
I LOve the close ups but very much appreciate that you showed the object you were studying with your camera! 🙂 Now I’m looking for a rusty object to see what MY camera will see. Thanks for the idea!
Hi BLOGitse, This is a really interesting photographic essay. I like how you showed the macro shots and then gradually showed us what it is. Some of the macros are really attractive – numbers 5 and 8 particularly appeal to me – which is strange considering that they are rusty bits of metal! Have a good week, Janice.

Thanks, hope to see you again!
Good Eye – Very well perceived!
Kauniisti ruoste kukkii siellä. Ihan kuin olisi ollut joku krokotiilikin kurkkimassa siellä ekassa kuvassa.

I am a total sucker for rust.
These close ups are great.
Love the colours and the detail!!
Beautiful shots. The colours are really nice.
When I saw the first one, I thought it was a leg of a lizard!

that’s why macros are interesting – you can create new realities from ordinary!
