Wow. The scar has healed so well! So proud of you!
Thank you! I have two possibilities: to go on or worry. I will be nervous when the check up is in June but it doesn’t help me if I worry advance or all the time.
This will be the situation rest of my life.
I’ve chosen to live my life like I did before…

I guess you don’t know but men can have breast cancer too!
Not very common though. In Finland about 10 men are diagnosed every year.
Wonderful to see that you talk about this so openly … and that things go well! (I have probably no reason to check my breasts; rather the prostata … and I do check!) 🙂

Minun rinnat tutkitaan aina kyniksen yhteydessä eli puolentoista vuoden välein, kun uusin pillerireseptini. Mitään aihetta ei ole koskaan ollut laittaa lähetettä mammografiaan. Sukurasitetta rintasyöpään minulla ei myöskään ole onneksi.

That scar is healing beautifully and only after 8 months it is almost completely gone! It’s hard to believe. Skin is an amazing organism, but a skilled surgeon, and most importantly, your shining positive attitude make the healing process work.
Thank you for sharing your personal story. I never knew this was part of your personal reality till now and never would have guessed from your writing and fotos that you had sustained such an ordeal so recently.

Oho, sullahan on hieno partneri, oikein Stiftung Warentest. Minä kävin pari viikkoa sitten mammografiassa ja todettiin eka kertaa mikrokalkkia ja päälle tehtiin heti MRT, mutta ei löytynyt pahempaa ja tarkkaillaan vuoden päästä. Mikä minusta on todella hienoa, oli se, että oma gynekologini,joka oli saanut automaattisesti raportin tuloksista, soitti minulle eilen aamulla oma-aloitteisesti kotiin ja sanoi, että ei tarvitse pelästyä, mutta kuulun riskiryhmään ja olen tarkkailun alla.
Hienosti on sun haavasi parantuneet.
The early photos made me shudder. I am glad to know you are healthy now. I think it was important that you shared your experiences of going through treatment and calling attention to the issue.

Eight months is not a long time, you have had difficult times not so long ago. But you sound so positive and happy that it makes me feel the same ^^. The scar looks ok, not bad, and “Yes, I do the checkings!”
