A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving.
A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wants.
Art is indeed not the bread but the wine of life.
– Jean Paul Richter
I can’t work without a model.
I won’t say I turn my back on nature ruthlessly in order to turn a study into a picture, arranging the colors, enlarging and simplifying;
but in the matter of form I am too afraid of departing from the possible and the true.
– Vincent Van Gogh
To speak of morals in art is to speak of legislature in sex.
Art is the sex of the imagination.
– George Jean Nathan
The artist does not see things as they are, but as he is.
– Alfred Tonnelle

Niin onkii! 🙂
Thank you for your kind words!
I always try to be careful with sharp objects but sometimes they want to touch me too deep! 🙂
Oma suosikkini on myos peilaava nainen. Se on jotenkin hieno…
hm…a verb. Interesting. When the object is ready it lives it own life in our reality…yes, why not a verb!
Nice to see you again! Hope to see you posting soon!!!
Hey, I think a lot of women feel like you! I do! 🙂
It's good we don't have too many mirrors in this flat…
I've found couple interesting bloggers via you, thanks! 🙂
Ei ollut kielletty. Kyseessa on hotla mutta paljastan lisaa 'seuraavassa jaksossa'…
Thanks! I visited your blog. I tried to leave a comment but didn't get to the comment page…something was wrong. I'll try again later…
And. Have you noticed all pictures on your latest post are invisible…
Thanks! They are from a hotel here in Casablanca. I'll post more from there later…even bigger statues – same theme though 🙂
That's my favorite too!
Thanks! It's good there are a lot of great quotes – I could never write them that well! 🙂
I think so too… 🙂
Those quotes are not mine but thanks for your words! 🙂 Nice to see you here!
Fascinating sculptures. & your quotes seem to fit them perfectly!
Aloha from Waikiki 🙂
Love the photos, and I'm a quote fanatic so I really loved the quotes, too!
I love the one looking in the mirror
these pieces are fantastic! Are they from a museum in Morocco? The quotes are very fitting for the pieces. Thanks for visiting my blog and sending me some sunshine!
i love your blog! it's so fascinating and unique 🙂
Fantastisia kuvia, olet tehnyt taiteesta taidetta. Ilmeisesti ei ollut kuvaaminen kielletty tuossa paikassa..
Very unique photos. Thanks for linkin up for WW!
Jaiks! It is clear, that the artist has been secretly behind my mirror!
I`ll never be naked again at home!
… or anywhere else either!
Those are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing them!
Interesting quotes. When I look ay an object of art, I think of it as a piece of evidence, so to speak. Or, an artifact. It suggests something about a way of being, and engaging with life. The art is in the processes, more than the object. The object is a material fall-out from creative acting. So, art, in this sense is more a verb, than a noun.
Kolmas alhaalta on ihan mun kroppa. Tuleekohan tää nyt kaksi kertaa, kun painoin vahingossa jotain väärä nappulaa.
I'm catching up from a crazy week!
LOVE these images of women and the great quotes. The red face is so striking and I feel like I could have modeled for some of the hefty ones! Yeah, I could shed a few pounds.
You are so excellent at street scenes, catching all the vibrancy of life as it unfolds around you. It's poetic.
And the Stone House! I love the way you put your "Blogitse" over one of the beams. It's your house! That is a great shot. And the stone is so mesmerizing, just beautiful.
By the way, CAREFUL with sharp objects!! :>)
