photos of the weekend #34
Last weekend we were in Bilbao, Spain.
It was great to be in Europe again!
We both love Spanish, jamon, red wine…
All these were shot in front/around Guggenheim museum, Bilbao, Spain.
Have a great weekend!

Such a wild looking building! Love the spider SS:)
Wow! My cousin would freak out with that spider! Thanks for sharing, CJR
Great pictures and I would love to visit the Guggenheim.

WOW! these pictures are amazing…this museum’s architecture is simply stunning…and the spider – wow again!! we are speachless…then that flower sculpture – hate to say it again, but Wow!!
I was just having the best time taking in all of the buildings…THEN…there it was, that ginormous spidy…EWWWWWW!!! (but cool!)
Wow. I think these are even more awesome to me because where I’m from, everything is on such a smaller scale. Being on a tiny island, you just don’t see things like this. That spider though…. hmmm…. That would freak me out!
Very interesting collection!! The spider is a bit creepy (no pun intended) and the shadow is excellent!
That building is phenomenal. What an amazing expression of skill and imagination. Your pictures are gorgeous as always.
I’m so jealous! It looks so beautiful. I’ve only been lucky enough to see the Guggenheim in New York. Some of your pictures could only have been taken in Europe, you know?
Wow, that is one huge spider indeed. Great shadow and looks like those people are really having fun around there.
Wonderful pictures. I would love to visit that museum. Once, in
my life, I visited Bilbao but, more often, I’m in Barcelona – actually,
the last two years for my birthday.
The spider is incredible.
Oh wow this place is awesome! The structure is so unique just beautiful!
Wow! These are fantastic! If the outside is any indication of the inside, this one’s going on my Bucket List!
Amazing architecture! Love the spider, and the giant flower puppy. I think it is a puppy. Thanks for sharing your day at the museum.
Love the flower dog. Picking up after him would provide a nice aroma.
Wow the last photo is espically cool! lol I lvoe allt he bright backgrounds..we’ve had nothing bur rain and more rain here 🙁
I had no idea that the Guggenheim was also in Italy. It’s just a beautiful building, thanks for sharing them with us 🙂

Spectacular shots. The museum with it’s contemporary architecture is very inviting. Love the angles in which you shot the building – very impressive. I love that bear sculpture. It looks like it is made of flowers? Just gorgeous. That spider is very cool as well.
The building itself is an amazing work of art! Beautiful…

Excellent shadow shots and what a spider…!
Yikes! That gigantic spider is freaky! But wow, what an awesome shadow it casts! I liked the colourful creature above. It was cute. A dog? Or a bear? Whatever it was it at least didn’t scare the pants off me! Hope you have a super week ahead 🙂
A dog… 🙂
This building is an amazing feat of architecture! Love your interesting perspectives! And the spidery shadow is just an awesome sight! Fantastic photos!
The spider shadow is a bit scary! I love the shots of the building, especially number 8. Have a great weekend 🙂
What an unusual building! Love your range of shadows! I was thinking a big spider – I didn’t expect a giant spider! lol
Great shots for the week!

I have always wanted to go to Bilbao and the museum. Your photos make me want to go there even more, just fabulous. I love the spider.
This building is probably modern given that it is full of modern styling. However, it looks great among the older architecture in Bilbao. That spider is huge, massive but oly scary if it were real (it is a statue – right???)
Don’t worry – it is a statue! 🙂
Beautiful work of arts!
Shadow Shot Sunday Post Have a great weekend!
