Koskettaa, kolahtaa, miellyttaa…..
Nyt WO*IMAn kimppuun kun viela jaksan!

  2. I enjoy contemporary art, except for when it’s one red circle on a white canvas. Jason’s art is incredible. It looks like real hair. I like the first one you showed us the most.

  3. It is interesting how a particular work (especially in an abstract or expressionist work ) can evoke powerful responses. As though it speaks a language of the sub-conscious. I don’t think all contemporary art is this way. Art like science, can have its own issues and sub-issues to explore, and some of these can be very esoteric and mostly about themselves. But, when a piece does reach out and grab you, you definitely know it. I would like to see this artist’s work first-hand. As with a sunset, photos can’t fully convey actually being there.

    • All contemporary art is not this way.
I’ve seen sand on a mirrow. I didn’t see any art in that.
I can’t explain why I love Jason’s art. Texture, patterns or because the light plays a big role how the work looks. Like magic! 🙂
Photos are never the same as actual work!

    • Tykkaatko kaikenlaisesta nykytaiteesta? 🙂

  4. What a great topic! Personally, I don’t like to disregard off-hand any artistic endeavors. That said, I personally find a lot of contemporary art to be a bit cold. That in itself can be a statement, but I like art to allow me to “take fight,” as this piece you are sharing does. It is fluid, organic, flowing like water or sky. It moves one beyond oneself. Anyway, that is my humble opinion which I would not have offered had you not asked. Looks like you are having an amazing time. Good for you!

    • I was surprised how many great works there were. I’m not crazy about contemporary art but I like art when I see something I like 🙂
My friend from Sweden was here and we visited two art museums…

  5. Vaikuttava tuo Martinin työ. Pitäisikin mennä Kiasmaan joku päivä. Ihan mukavaa välillä nauttia nykytaiteesta, riippuu ihan fiiliksestä, mikä taidesuuntaus tuntuu hyvältä.

    • Kannattaa kayda.
