your WOrds of my IMAge #97:
Those hazy, lazy days.
Do you remember? he says.
When time was young,
and the world so wide,
when we looked at tide,
on the beach we sung.
Only faded photos,
memories we have.
A horse carriage, that is the way to go!
Speeding tickets? Ha-ha-ha-ha! Who’s laughing now? 😀
Once upon a time there was a man with a horse.
The world was changing around but the man did not follow it.
That horse was all his life.
So, Harold, being way ahead of his time, traded his gas-guzzling Cadillac Escapade SUV in, for a horse and buggy.
Not only did he have enough money left over to buy a lifetime’s supply of grain and alfalfa for his horse,
he was even able to send his kid to college!
Take your time. Let me enjoy the ride.
Ed couldn’t believe that he was already in the twenty first century
and they still hadn’t invented a flying horse and carriage!
