a weekend full of work and fun…

This Easter weekend was warm and sunny here in Helsinki!

We had time to remove more wallpapers

and

Nordic walk in fresh air!

It was hard work to remove this wallpaper…old paper and glue, argh.

But it’s almost done!

  1. It seems you’ve been pretty busy these days. I love to do things on my own, even though it is a lot of work it is quite rewarding, isn’t it?

I love the last photo! Oh, so cute…

    • Kuulin just aamulla radiosta kuinka ravintolapahoinpitelyt on lisaantyneet. Ravintolat ei pyyda maineen menemisen pelossa apua vaan siella sita annetaan kannilaisten matkia toisiaan…
Olen kovasti viime aikoina miettinyt sosiaalista mediaa ja mediaa yleensa…kun vaan ehtisi kirjoittaa mietteet ylos…

    • Thanks Stickup! Light was perfect – that helps a lot when shooting pics (as you know) 🙂
We’re going to work hard this weekend again…but it’s for us, that’s nice! 🙂

  5. I have been thinking of having wall papers on the one wall in our bedroom, but after looking at your pictures I’m not so sure anymore … or maybe I’ll put it up with the blue tag… (sinitarra)

We spent the Easter in the very warm and sunny Calvados in France with my mother in law and K’s sister and her family.

    Good luck with the work!

    • Thanks Helja!
End of the living room wall had several layers of wallpaper, oldest from fifties I guess…
I don’t know but maybe glues are easier to handle today…
Calvados, I know that good drink but never been to Calvados! 🙂

  6. I remember removing wall paper once, it was quite a job!! Cool pictures of work in progress, and I admit when I first saw the squirrel, I thought he was smoking a cigarette!
