A couple of weeks ago we visited Marimekko factory outlet.

I’ve never heard of Marimekko before but I am IN LOVE. I love colorful patterns. I can’t wait to visit their website.
Marimekko used to be more widespread here, less now but you can find it. I hadn’t seen as much of their black and white – this area seems to have always imported more of the bright colors. I am such a fan of sling chairs, perfect for a good book!
Yesss! 🙂
Y have a Marimekko eyesshadoww palette for Avon from Avon. It’s fantastic, you know? Very beautiful patterns!
Have a great day, my dear!
Fabulous! A FEAST for the eyes!
I love Marimekko prints, but they are a tad out of my price range.
As a teen I was introduced by my hippie sister to Marimekko in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Mass…..I was in awe of all the designs and colors, and the vast variety of items….love your pics; they send me to a great ‘remember when’…..
Beautiful colors!
Diamond shape shadows.
Have a blessed Sunday.

I can imagine getting lost in Marimekko – with pleasure 😀 Thanks for sharing. The photos are superb, BLOGitse!
So many wonderful patterns and colors! I did a search to find if there were any stores near me.
That very first picture is modern art museum quality.
I saw some awfully cute things in there!
I haven’t seen Marimekko until now but I love what you have shown me, and with thanks to Google, I have found a stockist in a local suburb! 🙂
fun shop
quite an experience
I like the children’s clothing
Lovely photos, like the place, very colourful.Have a great day:)
What a colorful place, complete with discreet shadows!
What style – perhaps as a guy I don’t follow the whims of fashion (USA or Finland :), yet these photos are enchanting and artistic too. Art is all around us – here it cannot be missed!
Great captures for the day and I do love the colored glass!!!
Great designs! Like:)
Kuiskaus on tosi makee tuon väripläjäyksen tasapainottajana. Siirtolapuutarhakin on. Voi että, ihanaa väri-iloittelua!
Mukavaa viikonloppua!
Ihanaa, ihanaa, värejä ja ilottelua – etenkin made by us – aika mieletön ajatus kun oikein ajattelee…Kyllä Ratia oli aikamoinen mimmi! 🙂
Mikä sattuma, kun juuri eilen harmittelin, etten ostanut tuota siirtolapuutarhaa meidän terassille. Hauskaa viikonloppua!
ja minulla ei ollut mittoja mukana eli joudun uusintareissulle….Viikonloppuja myös sinne!
Marimekolla on kyllä ihania kuoseja! Siellä on ainakin satamonta, joista pidän. Tuo siirtolapuutarha näytti hienolta, en ollut ennen nähnytkään, kuten en myöskään kuiskausta – mielenkiintoinen ja oikeassa tilassa varmasti upea.
Huiskis!
I hated Marimekko when I was young, I thought only old people wore stripes and dots and liked to have awful patterned curtains.
And now I adore Marimekko.
What has happened to me????
hm…you’re…improved! 🙂 hahah 🙂
I liked Marimekko when I was young but didn’t have their products like our neighbours – all 5 people were Marimekko!
I’m proud that Marimekko is keeping up Finnish, high quality work made by people who get decent salary, good quality lunch at their own restaurant…
