We have about 180.000 lakes.
Here are a couple of shots from Saimaa,
the biggest lake in Finland.
Water and water.
I’ve started to paint again.
I like to play – here’s what I did with black ink (left hand) and watercolor 🙂

What amazing scenery! I didn’t know you had so many lakes. I would be taking photos all the time!
Gorgeous lake shots. Your paintings are very fun, can’t wait to see more.
Have a great week!
That’s a LOT of lakes! How wonderful! The water looks so serene.
Would love to see more of your art, BLOGitse!
Gorgeous! Love the painting as well.
A wonderful landscape! Love the reflections!
Your watercolor is inspiring me – been trying to carve out some time to play with my Inktense pencils and fabric. Perhaps I can nudge myself to get to it. Love the lake shots, we’re hot and dry and in severe drought. The images of water look so nourishing.
The lake is spectacular with its cloud reflections and your paintings are pretty nice, too.
Nice painting! Looking forward to seeing MORE!
Lovely water shots and I love your water colors. Looking forward to seeing more of your art.
Oh,how I hope to get to Finland some day. What beautiful pictures — especially the one with the clouds in the reflection.

The surface of the lake is like glass. The cloud reflections are so pretty.
Stiunning reflections in the lake waters and love the ethereal touch of your watercolours.
The colors of the sky and the lake are very beautiful.
The water is beautiful, the very blue sky adding its color to the mirror clear Finnish water – blue, my favorite color, all over the place as if an Impressionist artist painted the pictures…Your art is very nice, watercolors that sooth the soul…
what a lovely watery place- love your art work also!
Enjoy your day!
It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a brush, but your watercolor play inspires me!
