coffee break in Savonlinna, Finland

We stopped to have coffee in Savonlinna during our July trip.

The city was founded in 1639, based on Olavinlinna castle.

  3. I didn’t watch the video but loved your photographs. Savonlinna looks like a wonderful place to visit. I’ll come back to that video one day if I ever get the opportunity to travel. Oh.. and I especially loved that watercolour!

  4. The castle looks so stern and forbidding as it overlooks the modern seaside city and seacraft. No matter how menacing the castle looks, it does not detract from this beautiful Scandinavian day!

  5. Great photo’s. Thanks for letting me tag along on your trip.
What a great face. I love the eyelashes but best of all I think is the effect of the paints merging. Brilliant
(By the way… my star sign is Aquarius too)
