playing with water soluble wax pastels

I played with water soluble wax pastels.
Here’s what I did in my sketch book.

Do you see something in this? (I don’t!)  What would you call it?

Last weekend I posted art in EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art.

I’m sure you want to see more!

Jaakko Mattila (1976) is a very patient guy

or he has a machine to paint this kind of art. 🙂

In Jaakko’s blog HERE you can see more of his art – tell me what you think of his works.
ps. I like most of them…

  1. There’s a lady standing in a blue doorway on the left and a creature with a long pointed nose and wild hair on the right who is looking at the lady. There are hints of archways, doorways and alleys.
It’s a super page, good combinations of shapes and colours.
