What a beautiful autumn week we’ve had.
Sun’s been smiling and leaves are yellow, red…
This week we used oil pastels in the art course.
Not my thing.
I like to try all kinds of mediums and
realized that oil pastels are not for me…
We had to continue this sunflower oil painting (left side)
Normally I buy good quality mediums but these oil pastels were cheap,
very cheap and they feel cheap. Not good pigment and not pleasant to draw…
I didn’t have feeling to finish it
but here’s the result I did during the course
(we cut a copy of the sunflower painting, clued it on the paper and continued with
free style to make as one painting)

‘silhouette’
I’ve made only miniature drawings (sizes approx. 0.4-1 inch)
Lokakuun teemataiteeseen teen ainoastaan minisiluetteja, kooltaan n. 1-3 cm.

Minit! Olipas yllättävää, tässä ruudulta katsellessa ei kokoa tajuakaan. Hauska idea, tuli heti kutkutus tehdä itsekin joku ihan minipiiperryskuva, siluetti tai muu. 🙂
Hienosti olet onnistunut tekemään noin pienelle paperille siluetit.
Maton näen aitona, siinä on tosi kauniisti perspektiivit kohdallaan.
Olin jo soittamassa mattoa eteiseeni, kun luin, että se on noin pieni 🙂
Hieno idea tehdä pieniä, taidan varastaa idean jatkokuviin.
Pastellit eivät sovi minullekaan, harvoin käytän. Joskus vesivärin päälle niillä saa valoa.
