Hi everyone!
Thanks for your visit and comments!
Hope to see you again…soon 🙂
Wow…who knew photos of a tape measure could be so facinating! Great shots!!
nice shadows. I like the last two best, the coloring is so nice.
The shadow hunters
implore, “Give us light, give us
eyes to see—and more!”
You make a simple tape measure look so interesting.
It has to be cm!
Really beautiful photos, I love them all. I love the richness of the color, great blue!
Very striking photos of something so simple. You are very talented x
Loving those pics!
Well, this measures up to be quite the post! Lovely compositions-elegant in their simplicity.
Love the photos. I had the same tape measure for over 15 years and recently I lost it. You wouldn’t think I would miss a tape measure so much, but I do and keep hoping it will turn up.
love these playful shadows!
the tapes are really cool b/c of their flexability…the textures you can achieve in just twisting them…nice shots.
I have often thought that the most wonderful photographers are the ones that can shoot something ordinary and make it look spectacular : ) Good for you!
Those tape measure shadows are really cool! What a nifty idea!
Re the FB thing…you do need to set up a personal/profile on FB before creating a page but you don’t need to put personal info on there. Or if you do you can set whatever you want to private. I’m not sure how I feel about FB yet. I have to say that it’s not very user-friendly. Well, not friendly to this user anyway. Very confusing to me! But don’t let that put you off 🙂
Oh and thanks for calling my dad…hehe…you’re funny!
awesome shadows, so creative
Love the brilliance of the aqua light and the last shots of the darn thing all rolled up, sometimes that can be such a pain…you clever girl, I love them all!
Love this! Being a knitter I am all too familiar with the measuring tape, but this is beautiful. Love, love that blue color. Great job.
Very imaginative post! Here, in Edmonton Alberta, it would be cm.
LOVE this. Canada has gone metric. I grew up using the Imperial system but I tend to think in metric now!
As a sewer, these photos really appeal to me. We British quilters still work in imperial, but have to buy our fabric in metric!!
these are great shots of a simple object. i use both cm and inches at work…but honestly i prefer inches. cm’s never really caught on here in the states.
Terrific shots for the day as always! And such crisp shadows! Very creative as always! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!

The USA should have gone metric a century ago. Everything by 10s – how simple, while in the US, you have to divide a fraction to get a decimal. Ugh!
Cool shots! Glad to see you are still playing the photo memes 🙂
That is a practical one as the cm and inches are on different sides. I always get confused what is what when they are side by side. Are you 59,5? That would be clever.
There are no shadows without light. These are cool shadows and they must be cms!
