This donkey was standing and watching busy people leaving to school and work this morning.

There are lots of donkeys on the small Mediterranean town where we are spending our summers. I love them, they have a cool way of posing and lovely eyes :))

I have seen donkeys and lots of them.Here I have seen them here and there,but when I visited the island of Bonaire (Dutch Antilles) a few years back I saw really many donkeys.Donkeys run wild on that island and there are really many of them.A Dutch woman has established a sanctuary for donkeys, so there is a donkey farm,where they are taken good care of. I am single now,but none of my men were donkeys….
Tässä lähellä Helsinkiä ( 25 km itään ). Ystäväni oli metsälenkillä kun polulla lönkytteli häntä vastaan aasi. Ystäväni ei ollut uskoa silmiään, mutta kun aasi sitten töräytti hyvänhuomenensa tyypillisellä aasin äänellä, niin uskottava se oli. Tämä aito pitkäkorvainen aasi oli lähtenyt omille retkilleen läheiseltä ratsastustallilta.
Aaseja olen nähnyt tallissa joskus, mieheni ei ole aasi eikä apina. En huolisi sellaista 😉
Iii-haaa…noin blondeja en ole täällä nähnytkään,mitä nyt itse joskus, mutta muissa sävyissä löytyy kyllä. Jossain vaiheessa niitä jopa myytiin jauhelihana..

Yes, we have donkeys and mules here. The mules are much bigger and the area where I live is known for its mules. There is an annual Mule Day here, and people bring mules and donkeys from far and wide for a wagon train and other festivities. Here, a Mule is not a reference to a woman’s shoe. But some people are called mules because of their stubbornness.
