It was a beautiful morning for the bazaar! Like last year, pics here and here.
Here are some snapshots – yes, you heard it right, not photographs because I had lightning problem, again! Will I ever learn? Hope you get the idea though…
But today I do! 🙂
Mr. Ambassador Borut Mahnič to Slovenia in Cairo
But we got what wanted!
wiuh! Still alive! In Conrad Cairo lobby…
Ahmed (left) and Hazem
Very nice and polite guys working at the hotel reception.
It was nice to meet you! 🙂
Sameh pouring Turkish coffee…medium sweet 🙂
You see those palm trees? That’s the area where the bazaar was.
Some of the tables where outside, some inside.
Where’s a happening there’s a chaos…so many cars…
That’s it. Time to go home.
This time it was really difficult to take pictures because the space was so fully packed.
But we had a good shopping trip! 🙂

LISSU
laitan lisaa kuvia torstaina ja nappasen kuvan Sveitsin viinipullosta! Ei Slovenian kuohu kiinnosta? 🙂
Kiva kun jatit kommentin – uudet kommentoijat ovat bloggaajalle blogielaman suola, kiitos!
Maassa maan tavalla. Jàin kuitenkin miettimààn, mità aarteita itsellesi basaarista hankit ja mità viinià Sveisistà oli esillà.
Those are some great snapshots!! What a beautiful place and event!!
Great pictures from this big city!
Servus, so long and have a nice day

tuo basaarireissu oli oikeasti tuskallinen kun oli niin ahdasta. Suurin osa tuotteista jai nakematta koska ei nahnyt mitaan kun oli liikaa vakea. Mutta saimme mita haimme!
NICOLE
packed indeed!
KAREN
fun was that we got what we wanted! Too many people was not fun because we couldn’t see most of the stuff…but we got what we wanted 🙂
MYTHO
isn’t it interesting how the world is small and big at the same time!?
GMG
thanks! 🙂 It was an adventure – too many people in that area. People stopped to chat with people they met in the middle of the hallway so nobody could move anywhere.
Why is it so difficult to sense what’s going on around you, not just in you?! oh boy…
SHRADDHA
wow, great to see you here! thanks! 🙂
CRISTINA
I don’t miss the snow at all!
This time of year it’s like summer time in Finland…
But I like your virtual snowflakes! 🙂
See you!
MOMMYOF2GIRLZ
thanks for your visit here!
Maybe we’ll meet again… 🙂
ELEGIA
oli hassua kun lauloivat auringossa joululauluja…
tungos oli kestamaton mutta hengissa selvittiin! 🙂
JANICE
I’ll post more pics on Thursday… Stay in tune! 🙂
Looks like a great hotel, and I love that view of the waterfront in your second shot. Somehow I didn’t expect a Christmas fair in Cairo! Good to hear you got what you wanted.
Janice.
Great pictures! Thanks for stopping by on my SITS day it was nice to meet you 🙂
This looks like such a great time.
It’s so odd to not have any snow on the ground. I would send you some but it would all melt.
Here’s some virtual snoflakes though: * * * *
From your friend in NY!
xx
Cristina
great photos!
i enjoyed looking at them..
Hi! Great expedition!! No wonder for one used to Egyptian adventures… ;))
Lovely shots!!
Blogtrotter, which is always one year late in posting ;), headed to London December 2008. Enjoy and have a great week!
I loved looking at all the shots of this event….all the people milling about in some part of the world I’ve never been. And all that while I, in another part of the world, was probably sound asleep! Thanks!!
That looks like a lot of fun! No wonder it was so crowded!
And definitely, if I get to Cairo in the Spring, I’ll be in touch!
That place truly is jam packed, wow 😀
Glad you had fun, met great people and got what you wanted 🙂
Thanks, it was nice to see our hotel again.
