I’m responding in particular here to your photos. Cairo seems a beautiful place! Your photography is wonderful, I love the detail shots of everyday things.
The cork is the only barrier to the pouring of the celebratory bubbly. Head-on, the cork is diminutive. But that shadow shows a much bigger device in our way. Very artistic capture, the look of a really happy new year!
